The painting above is one of my newest works. It's called Newport. My inspiration came from the color reflections on the water one exceptionally sunny day. I was mesmerized by the movement and clarityof the water, and wanted to capture the day by engaging my senses. When the viewer looks at the painting I want them to feel the movement in the water, smell the ocean air and feel the moisture on their skin.
